a little bit about me.

My name is Cassie Smith. I am a 21-year-old college student based in the CT-MA-NY area.

As long as I can remember, I have loved nothing more than creating (besides talking, hence the name of this blog!). Writing in particular has become a creative outlet that I’ve relied on during the good, the bad, and the ugly. My hope is that I can use this skill to connect with people near and far, which is why I started this blog.

As my Composition & Pedagogy professor once said… writing is a social discipline above anything else. It brings people together from the past, present, and even the future. My hope is that you read my blog and leave learning a little bit about me, but also learning something about you, too. Enjoy!
